A family man's bid for a better life gives organized crime a path into his Queens home.

In 1986 Queens, engineer and family man Irwin Pearl is drawn into a high-stakes business scheme by his charismatic older brother, Gary, a former New York police officer. James Gray wrote and directed Paper Tiger. Miles Teller stars as Irwin, with Adam Driver as Gary and Scarlett Johansson as Hester; the cast also includes Roman Engel and Gavin Goudey. The film competed at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival and opened the 64th New York Film Festival. NEON releases it in U.S. theaters on November 13, 2026.
