78th Emmy Awards: Best of the Red Carpet

The stars, writers, directors and craftspeople of television turned out at the Peacock Theater for the 78th Emmy Awards.

The red carpet was buzzing Monday night as the stars, writers, directors and craftspeople of television gathered for the 78th Emmy Awards.

Taking place at the Peacock Theater at L.A. Live, the carpet welcomed Matthew Rhys, Rhea Seehorn, Sarah Pidgeon, Lisa Kudrow, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Megan Stalter, Noah Wyle, Rachel Sennott, Selena Gomez, Cailee Spaeny, Colman Domingo, Denée Benton, Richard Gadd, Adam Brody, Shabana Azeez, Supriya Ganesh, Abby Elliott and Hanelle Culpepper, ahead of the three-hour telecast hosted by Mariska Hargitay.

By the end of the night, several of them would be holding trophies. Matthew Rhys made history with two lead acting wins, Rhea Seehorn finally took lead actress in a drama for Pluribus, and Wyle successfully defended his lead actor crown for The Pitt.
