One Night Only Premiere Brings Callum Turner, Monica Barbaro, Dua Lipa and More to New York

The stars of Will Gluck’s romantic comedy celebrated the film’s New York premiere ahead of its theatrical release on Aug. 7.

Universal Pictures officially premiered One Night Only in New York City, rolling out the blue carpet at the SVA Theatre for one of the summer’s biggest romantic comedy debuts. Leading the celebration were stars Callum Turner and Monica Barbaro, joined by Turner’s wife, Dua Lipa, as the cast, filmmakers and special guests gathered to celebrate the film ahead of its nationwide theatrical release.

Directed by Will Gluck and written by Travis Braun, One Night Only follows recently dumped Owen (Turner) and hopeless romantic Allie (Barbaro), two strangers searching for something more meaningful on the one night each year when premarital sex is legal. As unexpected encounters, missed connections and New York City itself keep pulling them together—and apart—the film promises a fresh, modern take on the romantic comedy.

The premiere welcomed an impressive lineup of actors, musicians and creators, including Molly Ringwald, Maya Hawke, Julia Fox, LeVar Burton, Okieriete Onaodowan, Este Haim, Ziwe, King Princess, Ben Marshall, Nicholas Braun, Quintessa Swindell and Michelle Hurd.
