‘The Odyssey’ NYC Premiere Red Carpet: Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Matt Damon and More

Hollywood’s biggest names gathered in New York for one of the summer’s most anticipated red-carpet events.

Zendaya, Anne Hathaway and Matt Damon led the arrivals at the New York City premiere of The Odyssey on July 14, joining members of the film’s expansive ensemble ahead of its theatrical release.

The event marked a major stop on the promotional tour for Christopher Nolan’s latest epic, with the cast stepping out to celebrate the ambitious adaptation of Homer’s legendary poem. The premiere also delivered one of the summer’s biggest fashion moments, as the film’s stars brought a mix of dramatic tailoring, couture and classical inspiration to the carpet.

Damon stars as Odysseus, the Greek king attempting to return home after the Trojan War, while Hathaway portrays Penelope and Zendaya appears as Athena. The ensemble also includes Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, Jon Bernthal and John Leguizamo.

Written and directed by Nolan, The Odyssey opens in theaters on July 17.
