‘House of the Dragon’ Season 3 Trailer Drops as HBO Sets June 21 Premiere for Return to Westeros

HBO unveils the official trailer for House of the Dragon Season 3, teasing the return of House Targaryen ahead of its June 21 premiere on HBO and HBO Max.
HBO has released the official trailer for Season 3 of its hit drama series House of the Dragon, confirming the show’s return on Sunday, June 21 at 9:00 p.M. ET/PT on HBO, with episodes also available to stream on HBO Max .
The upcoming season will consist of eight episodes, rolling out weekly through its finale on August 9, continuing the expansion of the Game of Thrones prequel universe centered on the Targaryen dynasty .
Based on George R.R. Martin’s Fire & Blood, the series is set approximately 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones and chronicles the rise, rule, and internal conflict of House Targaryen .

Season 3 continues under the leadership of co-creator and showrunner Ryan Condal, alongside co-creator George R.R. Martin. Executive producers include Sara Hess, Melissa Bernstein, Kevin de la Noy, Vince Gerardis, David Hancock, and Philippa Goslett .
