From the signing of the Declaration of Independence to the invention of the telephone and other landmark events, Larry’s fictional presence turns history into a series of awkward misunderstandings, petty arguments, and completely avoidable disasters. Each episode places his signature brand of observational comedy into a different historical setting while satirizing American culture and politics.

Created by Larry David and Jeff Schaffer and produced by Higher Ground Productions, the HBO Max comedy stars Larry David alongside an ensemble of guest stars throughout its seven-episode run.
