We Were Liars – Official Teaser | Prime Video

Prime Video unveils the first look at We Were Liars, the haunting young adult drama based on E. Lockhart’s viral bestseller. Set on a private island off the coast of Massachusetts, the teaser introduces viewers to the wealthy Sinclair family—beautiful, privileged, and damaged. At the center is Cadence Sinclair Eastman, whose return to the island triggers fragmented memories of a fateful summer and a tragedy no one will speak of.

With dreamy cinematography and a deliberately fractured narrative, the series promises an atmospheric tale of love, trauma, and the lies we tell ourselves to survive. Adapted by Julie Plec and Carina Adly MacKenzie, the show brings a psychological and emotional intensity to the TikTok-beloved novel, with its explosive twist ending intact.

We Were Liars premieres this summer on Prime Video.
