Oscars 2026 Party Guide: Beyoncé, Jay-Z, Madonna, Dua Lipa and Hollywood’s Biggest Week of Celebrations

From Dior’s opening night to Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s legendary Gold Party, here’s where Hollywood celebrates during Oscars week.

Awards season officially reaches its grand finale this week as Hollywood prepares for the 98th Academy Awards, but the Oscars themselves are only part of the spectacle. Across Los Angeles, studios, fashion houses, talent agencies and cultural institutions are hosting a whirlwind of parties, galas and industry gatherings leading up to the ceremony on March 15.

From the first champagne toasts early in the week to the late-night celebrations after the final Oscar is handed out, the days surrounding the ceremony have become their own cultural ritual. A-list actors, filmmakers, musicians and power brokers move from one red carpet to the next, culminating in some of the most exclusive and talked-about parties of the year.

Fashion labels, luxury brands and entertainment companies are all vying for their moment during the week, creating an unofficial circuit that stretches from Beverly Hills to West Hollywood and beyond. It’s where awards contenders mingle with rising stars, industry veterans and the global celebrity elite — and where some of Hollywood’s most memorable moments happen away from the Oscar stage itself.

The festivities begin Monday with Dior’s Club J’adore party, expected to draw stars including Quinta Brunson, Tyler James Williams, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Alexandra Shipp, Jurnee Smollett and Lana Condor. By Tuesday night, Priyanka Chopra Jonas joins fellow hosts for the annual “South Asians at the Oscars” pre-Oscar gathering, celebrating the growing presence of South Asian talent across Hollywood.

Midweek events include Diane von Furstenberg’s Oscar Nominee Luncheon honoring female nominees, Vanity Fair’s Young Hollywood gathering at Bar Marmont and the annual “An Unforgettable Evening” benefit for breast cancer research. Elsewhere, the Essence Black Women in Hollywood luncheon celebrates artists and creatives including Kerry Washington, Chase Infiniti and Zinzi Coogler, while the Oscar Wilde Awards spotlight Irish filmmaking talent.

As the weekend approaches, the industry shifts into overdrive. Talent agencies host their own gatherings, including events from Warner Bros., CAA and WME, while brands like Giorgio Armani and Chanel bring together filmmakers, actors and designers for their signature awards-season dinners.

One of the most anticipated nights arrives Saturday with Charles Finch and Chanel’s annual dinner at the Beverly Hills Hotel’s Polo Lounge. The guest list regularly reads like a snapshot of modern Hollywood — and this year’s expected attendees reportedly include Kristen Stewart, Adrien Brody, Jessie Buckley, Jeff Goldblum, Al Pacino, Miley Cyrus, Javier Bardem and Sigourney Weaver.

Saturday also brings the Motion Picture & Television Fund’s “The Night Before” celebration, one of the most influential gatherings of the weekend. Hosted this year by Michael B. Jordan and Kate Hudson alongside Warner Bros. executives Pamela Abdy and Michael De Luca, the event draws filmmakers and actors from across the industry.

But Oscars Sunday is when the real marathon begins.

The ceremony itself takes place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, where Conan O’Brien hosts the 98th Academy Awards. Immediately afterward, the official Governors Ball welcomes winners and nominees for the Academy’s traditional post-show celebration.

From there, the night explodes into a series of after-parties that often run well into the early morning hours. Vanity Fair’s iconic party moves this year to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA), while Netflix hosts its own industry gathering nearby.

POPULAR ON THE CINEMA GROUP

Meanwhile, the Elton John AIDS Foundation viewing party continues to be one of the biggest philanthropic events of the weekend, with a guest list that typically includes major figures from film, music and fashion.

Late into the night, two of the most exclusive gatherings in Hollywood take over. Madonna and longtime manager Guy Oseary host their annual black-tie celebration, now in its eighteenth year. And at Chateau Marmont, Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s famous Gold Party becomes the final stop for many of the night’s biggest stars.

By the time the last guests leave those parties, Hollywood will have officially closed another awards season — one defined not only by the winners onstage, but by the celebrations that surround them.
