A24 and David E. Kelley team up for a sharp, emotionally grounded comedy-drama about money, motherhood and survival.

Apple TV revealed the first teaser for Margo’s Got Money Troubles during its 2026 Apple TV Press Day, offering an early look at the upcoming eight-episode series led by Elle Fanning, Michelle Pfeiffer, and Nicole Kidman. The series hails from David E. Kelley and A24, and will premiere globally on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

The debut will include the first three episodes, followed by weekly releases every Wednesday through May 20. In addition to starring, Fanning and Kidman also serve as executive producers, underscoring the project’s top-tier creative pedigree.

Based on Rufi Thorpe’s bestselling novel of the same name, Margo’s Got Money Troubles centers on Margo, a recent college dropout and aspiring writer navigating single motherhood, financial precarity and adulthood arriving all at once. With a newborn, shrinking options, and mounting bills, Margo is forced to confront what survival really looks like in a system stacked against her.

Pfeiffer stars as Margo’s mother, a former Hooters waitress, while Nick Offerman plays her estranged father, an ex–professional wrestler. The ensemble cast also includes Marcia Gay Harden, Greg Kinnear, Michael Angarano, Rico Nasty, Thaddea Graham, and Lindsey Normington.

Kelley Productions. Pfeiffer, Thorpe, Eva Anderson and Boo Killebrew also executive produce.
