Austin Butler and Zoë Kravitz joined Darren Aronofsky in London as Caught Stealing premiered ahead of its August 29 release.
London set the stage today for Sony Pictures’ upcoming crime caper Caught Stealing, as stars Austin Butler, Zoë Kravitz, and director Darren Aronofsky posed for a stylish photocall against the city’s iconic skyline. With Big Ben and the London Eye in the background, the cast stepped out just ten days ahead of the film’s theatrical release.
Based on Charlie Huston’s acclaimed novel and adapted for the screen by Huston himself, Caught Stealing follows Hank Thompson (Butler), a former baseball phenom whose quiet New York bar life spirals into chaos after a seemingly simple favor — looking after a neighbor’s cat — entangles him with dangerous gangsters. The result is a brutal, stylish survival tale set against the grit and pulse of the city.
Aronofsky, an Academy Award® nominee known for Black Swan and The Whale, brings his signature intensity to the genre, fusing sharp violence, tension, and dark humor. The ensemble cast includes Regina King, Matt Smith, Liev Schreiber, Vincent D’Onofrio, Griffin Dunne, Carol Kane, and Benito Martínez Ocasio (a.k.a. Bad Bunny), promising both prestige and pop-cultural heat.

At the photocall, Butler leaned into casual-cool styling with muted corduroys and aviators, while Kravitz opted for understated elegance in a cream-toned dress. Aronofsky, never one to shy from bold choices, sported a map-printed shirt that set the tone for the film’s globe-trotting publicity campaign.
