Brad Pitt is back in the role that earned him an Oscar, and the first set photos from 'The Adventures of Cliff Booth' are already igniting buzz. Captured filming outside Quentin Tarantino's New Beverly Cinema on July 28, Pitt was seen fully transformed into his iconic 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' stuntman character, now front and center in the sequel.

Pitt, 61, donned a retro yellow camp shirt, shaggy blond wig, and graphic tee layered over blue jeans—evoking the same effortless cool that defined Cliff Booth in the 2019 original. The Los Angeles set brought a dose of old-school Hollywood grit, fitting for the character's latest chapter. The film is being directed by David Fincher from a script penned by Tarantino himself, reuniting some of Hollywood's boldest voices.

While the first film followed Booth's loyalty to fading actor Rick Dalton (Leonardo DiCaprio), the sequel is rumored to pivot toward Booth's own mythology—reportedly positioning him as a Hollywood "fixer" in a darker, more noir-leaning narrative. DiCaprio is not expected to return.

Netflix secured the sequel in a competitive bidding war, signaling major confidence in the project. The streaming giant has yet to announce a release date, but production is now underway, and fans are eager for more details. Pitt was also seen arriving in a second outfit earlier in the day, this time wearing a blue shirt and light-wash jeans, as he prepared to shoot at Tarantino's legendary cinema.

Joining Pitt in the cast are Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, Carla Gugino, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, though their roles remain under wraps. As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the project is being kept "more secretive than Star Wars."

Pitt’s return to the role of Cliff Booth follows his Oscar win for Best Supporting Actor at the 2020 Academy Awards. His heartfelt acceptance speech paid tribute to Tarantino, co-star DiCaprio, and the ethos behind the character. "This really is about Quentin Tarantino. You are original. You are one of a kind," Pitt said. "The film industry would be a much drier place without you."
