Nicole Kidman is actively taking on numerous acting roles to support newcomers and create jobs within Hollywood. Despite her busy schedule, Kidman emphasizes balancing her career with family life. Her co-stars praise her for her kindness and professionalism on set, highlighting her dedication to making a positive impact.

Is Nicole Kidman currently the hardest-working person in Hollywood?

Over the past year, Kidman has been incredibly busy. She’s starred in movies like A Family Affair and Babygirl, while also taking on prominent TV roles in Expats and The Perfect Couple. She returns for Season 2 of Taylor Sheridan’s Lioness, launching on Paramount+ on October 27.

In addition, Kidman has lined up projects for Hulu’s Nine Perfect Strangers Season 2, the animated film Spellbound, and the thriller Holland, Michigan. She also portrays the titular character in Scarpetta, Amazon’s upcoming series based on Patricia Cornwell’s mystery novels, co-starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Ariana DeBose. Kidman is also working on getting a third season of Big Little Lies underway, along with a potential sequel to Practical Magic.

Despite her hectic schedule, Kidman manages to rest. “I slept nine hours last night,” she shared at the Lioness Season 2 premiere in Los Angeles.

She admits that she often considers taking a break but finds it difficult due to her passion for helping others. “I do think about it, but it’s challenging. There are so many opportunities to be of service to people who are coming up,” she explained, referencing her support of emerging talents like Helena Reijn, the writer-director of Babygirl. “I think, ‘I can create more work for people. I can create jobs.’ And I love it. I have the passion, but I also know I need to take care of my body. I wish I had superpowers because I’d love to be everywhere.”

Kidman remains dedicated to her craft and also prioritizes her family. “This is what I dreamed of since I was a little girl. I love what I do, so I’m giving it my all. But when I’m not working, I go home to be with my family. I’m not out partying; I’m spending time with them.”

Her upcoming role in Scarpetta marks her first collaboration with Jamie Lee Curtis. Speaking about Curtis, Kidman says, “Talk about someone who’s hit her stride and is owning this point in her life—and deservedly so.”

Kidman’s co-stars from Lioness have spoken highly of their experiences working with her. Jill Wagner, who plays Bobby, described Kidman as “so kind” and shared a heartwarming anecdote about how Kidman made a video message for a friend’s mother battling cancer without being asked.

Zoe Saldaña, who plays Joe, also praised Kidman. “On my first day on set, I was so nervous, trying to keep my cool, but Nicole made it so easy. Soon enough, we were sharing stories and talking about our kids.”

Nicole Kidman’s commitment to her craft, her generosity, and her desire to support newcomers make her a standout figure in Hollywood.
