‘Ted Lasso’ Renewed for Season 4 as Jason Sudeikis Returns to the Pitch

Apple TV+

Apple TV+ has officially renewed its Emmy-winning hit Ted Lasso for a fourth season, bringing Jason Sudeikis back as the ever-optimistic coach. After much speculation about whether AFC Richmond would return, the streaming platform confirmed that the beloved series will continue with Sudeikis not only reprising his role but also serving as an executive producer.

“As we all continue to live in a world where so many factors have conditioned us to ‘look before we leap,’” Sudeikis said in a statement, “in season four, the folks at AFC Richmond learn to LEAP BEFORE THEY LOOK, discovering that wherever they land, it’s exactly where they’re meant to be.”

The renewal keeps Ted Lasso on its historic trajectory, having already made Emmy history with back-to-back Outstanding Comedy Series wins for its first two seasons. Apple TV+ programming head Matt Cherniss praised the show’s impact, calling it “nothing short of a juggernaut,” and celebrating its ability to inspire kindness and joy among a passionate global fanbase.
