TIFF 2024 Unveils Diverse Lineup with 43 Titles from Around the World

The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) has announced its 2024 Centrepiece programme, featuring a stunning lineup of 43 films from 41 countries. This year’s selection includes 18 World Premieres, showcasing a broad spectrum of voices and styles from around the globe. Highlights include “Anywhere Anytime” by Milad Tangshir from Italy, “Cloud” by Kiyoshi Kurosawa from Japan, and “The Legend of the Vagabond Queen of Lagos” by Agbajowo Collective from Nigeria, among many others.


The festival continues its tradition of highlighting innovative and boundary-pushing films, with entries like “By the Stream” by Hong Sangsoo from South Korea and “Fanatical: The Catfishing of Tegan and Sara” by Erin Lee Carr from the USA. This year’s lineup underscores TIFF’s commitment to celebrating global cinema and providing a platform for diverse storytelling.
