New Line Cinema unveils the official trailer for Weapons, the highly anticipated follow-up to Zach Cregger’s breakout horror hit Barbarian. This time, Cregger trades claustrophobic basements for sprawling, sunlit paranoia in a multi-character horror epic described as “Magnolia by way of The Ring.”

While plot details remain largely under wraps, the trailer teases an interconnected web of eerie encounters, unexplained phenomena, and suburban terror. The cast includes Pedro Pascal, Renate Reinsve, Josh Brolin, and Julia Garner, bringing prestige depth to a film that already promises to disrupt genre expectations.

Produced by Jordan Peele’s Monkeypaw Productions and distributed by Warner Bros., Weapons builds on the “elevated horror” movement with an ambitious narrative scope and a mounting sense of dread. If Barbarian taught us to never trust the floor plan, Weapons suggests we might not want to trust reality at all.

The film is set to release in theaters on November 14, 2025.
