Apple TV+ has unveiled the first trailer for Prime Target, an intense conspiracy thriller starring rising star Leo Woodall. Known for his standout performances in The White Lotus, Citadel, and One Day, Woodall takes on the role of Edward Brooks, a mathematical prodigy whose groundbreaking work on prime numbers draws the attention of powerful and shadowy figures.


In Prime Target, Brooks’ discovery of a potential pattern in prime numbers doesn’t just have academic implications—it threatens to unlock every computer system in the world. The trailer showcases Brooks, portrayed by Woodall with charisma and sharp intellect, as he moves from quiet Cambridge classrooms to a fast-paced international chase. Quintessa Swindell co-stars as Taylah Sanders, an NSA agent initially sent to monitor Brooks but soon caught up in unraveling a deep government conspiracy. The trailer teases high-stakes drama with glimpses of glitching cityscapes, tense face-offs, and a sinister performance by Martha Plimpton.

The official synopsis reads:

“A brilliant young math postgraduate, Edward Brooks (Woodall), is on the verge of a major breakthrough. If he succeeds in finding a pattern in prime numbers, he will hold the key to every computer in the world. Soon, he begins to realize an unseen enemy is trying to destroy his idea before it’s even born, which throws him into the orbit of Taylah Sanders, an NSA agent (Swindell) who’s been tasked with watching and reporting on mathematicians’ behavior. Together, they start to unravel the troubling conspiracy Edward is at the heart of.”
